Overview

Built an AI-powered content automation and publishing platform that transforms raw ideas into platform-ready posts through a seamless user interface. The system combines a custom frontend UI with backend workflow automation using OpenAI, Google Sheets, and orchestration tools — enabling users to generate, edit, approve, and publish content from a single dashboard.

Problem

Content creation and publishing workflows were fragmented across multiple tools, requiring users to:

  • Manually generate and rewrite content for different platforms
  • Switch between tools for editing, scheduling, and publishing
  • Lack visibility into drafts, approvals, and publishing status
  • Spend excessive time managing content instead of creating it
  • This resulted in inefficiencies, inconsistent output, and poor content velocity.

    Solution

Designed a full-stack AI-driven content system with both frontend interface and automated backend workflows that:

    1. Provides a user-friendly UI for submitting content ideas or URLs.

    2. Triggers backend workflows via webhooks to process inputs in real time.

    3. Uses AI to generate structured drafts, summaries, and multiple variations.

    4. Displays generated drafts in the UI for easy review and selection.

    5. Allows users to edit, refine, and approve content directly from the interface.

    6. Automatically adapts approved content for different platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, email).

    7. Enables users to choose between instant publishing or scheduled posting via the UI.

    8. Handles publishing workflows in the backend while updating status in the frontend.

    9. Logs all drafts, selections, and publishing activity in Google Sheets for tracking.

    10. Includes error handling, retry mechanisms, and audit logs for reliability.
